What customers say?

“ Very good restaurant with cozy atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. We were dining there almost every evening during our stay in Meribel. ”

“ I had mixed feelings about Le 80. The service was absolutely excellent, the atmosphere was cosy and chic. The onion soup was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the steak and lobster linguine didn’t live up to the high prices, a bit underwhelming. Overall, great vibe and service, but the food doesn’t always match the price tag. That said, we definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu. ”

- Caroline -

“ Food was delicious (we had the burrata salad, duck confit special, and scallops with mushroom risotto), service was very friendly and attentive, and the ambience was lovely (hot balloon theme and real lit bougie candles). They do not (yet) have a mocktail menu, but made a custom mocktail based on a couple of juices I selected. ”

“ Very nice food and service. The lamb shoulder is a killer! As always nice and cosy atmosphere. Will definitely return. ”

“ So I came here for a special New Years Eve dinner and felt compelled to write a review because everything I’d read seemed so negative. My group of 8 and I had a blast of a NYE dinner at Le 80! It was intimate but festive, and the 5-course meal, although not Michelin starred, was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, although we still got charged for a person who couldn’t make the reservation. That was disappointing. At midnight they provided a champagne toast and then let in the non-dinner eating crowd for a champagne-sparklier, raucous-filled celebration. Was it expensive? Yes. Were we spending New Years Eve in the French Alps in an exclusive mountain town? Yes. Had a good time and would recommend for a NYE bash in Meribel! ”

- Patrick Martin -

“ Everything was simply outstanding. An excellent wine selection, truly remarkable steaks, and the black cod was absolutely exquisite — one of the best dishes we’ve had. We stayed at the hotel attached to the restaurant and were delighted to have such an exceptional place right next door. With a restaurant of this quality, there’s really no need to go anywhere else. Wonderful atmosphere, superb cuisine, and an overall flawless experience. Highly recommended. ”

“ The highlight was the steak experience, where we got to choose our cut of meat from the selection in the fridge. A very enjoyable evening with friendly and welcoming staff. Ava looked after us very well throughout dinner and the sommelier hit just the right note... Jules, I think his name was. ”

- James Amos -

“ Enjoyable atmosphere with great recommendations from the staff! Service was fantastic! French onion soup comes highly recommended! ”
